OMG! I and my friends went to Rome on last december. While we were searching for Piazza Navona, one gelatteria caught my eyes. judging from its location, we thought that the taste won’t be that good. apparently we’re WRONG. Ranging from 2-4 euro, there are lots of flavor, cones and waffle choices. Don’t forget the compliments (chocolate dipping or whipped cream), which I haven’t found in other gelatteria. Since it was almost nightfall and we haven’t found Piazza Navona, we went in hurry and forgot to remember the shop name! during our trip, we were trying to relocate it but we missed. ‘:(
the two things I recall of the place are; it’s located near Via Sora and 5 minutes walking to Piazza Navona. today, i searched it using gmaps and reviews on tripadvisor, and I’ve found it!
so, for all of you who’re looking for valued yet tasty gelato, come to Le Gelateria Frigidarium -heads down the Via del Governo Vecchio (the west exit of Piazza Navona), it’s on the left before Via Sora.
